About Us
Grey Rose Farm is a small farm established in January 2021. We are located in northern Tuscaloosa county, 20 minutes from the University of Alabama. The farm focuses on horses, offering riding lessons and limited room for board. The farm also has chickens with plans to add goats and a garden in the coming spring.
Amanda Williams Owner/Instructor
Amanda has been riding horses since childhood and has been teaching riding lessons for the last 10 years. She teaches English and Western riding disciplines. Amanda graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in Veterinary Medical Technology and is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. While at MSU Amanda was a member of both the IHSA team and horse judging team. She also studied and is certified in equine massage.
Matt Williams Owner
Matt has been riding since middle school. In collage he began competing in endurance riding putting hundreds of miles in the saddle during training and competition. Off the farm Matt is a Lead Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer with a specialty in computer vision.
